Great drawing, wonderful illustration of this terrible moment. Effective pose and expression and i like your design for Gurthang, it's realistic. I haven't got as far as Narn yet with my Silmarillion illustrations but i really want to draw some of these scenes too.. that story is one of my favourites.

I'm sure you will find the Narn an endless source of inspiration for drawings, it's a powerful story... And, yes, I like drawing swords! Thanks for the compliment
